Video: Transferring a domain from GoDaddy
Transferring moves the domain to us completely, so renewals and hosting sit in one place. Unlock the domain in your GoDaddy account first, request the authorization code, and give us that code. A transfer takes up to seven days and cannot be started within sixty days of registering the domain, which is a registry rule rather than ours.
