I shot a co star today, and basically… I sucked. I know, you might think “I doubt you sucked!” But truly I don’t know what happened to me. I’m generally a solid actor (I think?) and typically get excellent feedback… I was prepared, I’ve done this before… but this was my first audition and booking for TV in over 8 years…

This is my first actual game NPC role (Previously, I've been doing some Skyrim & Fallout mod roles to try and learn) I have very little access to training and I'm new to acting as a whole - but have been talking with two friends who are trained actors with much more experience to try and improve. An issue brought up to…

I’m not sure I want to spend $500 on headshots, but at the same time my current headshots don’t look enough like me currently that I want to use them. I’m thinking about spending less and getting one look rathe…

I had nothing to do with acting when we met. I decided to start acting 3 years ago as it was my childhood dream. The first thing he told me was he wasn’t sure he could handle me kissing other actors. I explained him everything that it's unromantic, choreographed, technical, done in public but he said that "I trust you…

Comedic acting is my favorite thing to do. I would say I excel at it. Improv is another story - I freeze up and I don't know what to say. I have trouble focusing on what the other actor is trying to build with me with their choices. I just don't get it. My brain doesn't work that way. So many comedic plays at local the…

I've been building my career as a bilingual (Spanish/English) voice actor over the past few years — commercials, corporate narration, dubbing, e-learning, and audiobooks. The character you play existed long before their first line of dialogue — and the actors who understand that life are the ones who walk into every scene with something extra. It is the actor's job to imbue their performance with these subtleties to create a layered, nuanced performance. But what happens when…
